Blue Jays from Away
Rain in Florida kept two of the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league affiliates from getting into action and the other three teams were on the losing side of things.
Buffalo Bisons 3, Rochester Red Wings (WAS) 4
The Buffalo Bisons (32-22) scored three runs for the second consecutive game, but this time it wasn't enough as the Rochester Red Wings beat them 4-3.
Breyvic Valera had a solid game, going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs while Riley Adams drove in three with a 1-for-4 effort. Tyler White was 1-for-3 with a a walk, as was Alejandro Kirk. Richard Urena was 1-for-4 and so was Nash Knight who also added a run.
Zach Logue started on the mound, allowing four runs on five hits (one HR) with a walk and three strikeouts in three innings. The bullpen was outstanding as five pitchers combined to throw the remaining five scoreless innings. Casey Lawrence (1 IP, 1 H, 1 K), Joel Payamps (1 IP), Ryan Borucki (1 IP, 1 K), Dany Jimenez (1 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K) and Travis Bergen (1 IP, 1 H) finished it out.

Roster Notes: Trent Thornton was optioned to Buffalo and Ryan Borucki was sent to Buffalo for a rehab assignment.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (NYM) 5
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (23-30) couldn't match the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, falling 5-3.
Elvis Luciano started for the Fisher Cats, taking the loss and allowing four runs on six hits (one HR) and three walks with three strikeouts over five innings. Graham Spraker struck out three in one inning, allowing a hit and a walk. Sean Rackoski allowed a run on two hits and Kyle Johnston surrendered a hit and struck out one in the eighth inning.
L.J. Talley had a pair of doubles and a walk, scoring a run, going 2-for-3 while Vinny Capra kept pumping up his batting average with a 2-for-4 game, driving in a run. Austin Martin was 1-for-4 with a stolen base, as was Montreal native Otto Lopez (without the stolen base) who also scored. Rodrigo Vigil was 1-for-4 with a run and Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.), back with the club, was 1-for-4. Reggie Pruitt was 1-for-4 with a double and a stolen base.

Roster Notes: Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) was activated from the development list and Brock Lundquist was placed on the 7-day injured list.
Vancouver Canadians 2, Spokane Indians (COL) 3
The Vancouver Canadians (28-28) had just three hits, falling 3-2 to the Spokane Indians.
The C's offence sputtered with a double from Spencer Horwitz (1-for-2, 2B, 2 BB), a single from Ryan Gold (1-for-4, RBI) and a single, run and RBI from Tanner Morris (1-for-4, RBI, R). Rafael Lantigua walked twice, going 0-for-2 with a run and a stolen base and an outfield assist but he was also caught stealing.
Luis Quinones started and struck out twice as many as he walked but he still walked four in 4 2/3 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits with eight strikeouts. Brandon Eisert took the loss, allowing a run on four hits with a walk and two strikeouts in three innings and Cobi Johnson allowed a hit and struck out one in 1 1/3 innings.
