Rain washes out Thursday's Intercounty Baseball League games

Rain once again delayed the start of the Intercounty Baseball League's 102nd season.
After Wednesday's season opener between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Hamilton Cardinals was postponed due to inclimate weather, Thursday's games were also washed out.
Barrie, the reigning six-time champion, was slated to host Toronto. That game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
Hamilton was scheduled to visit Welland. That game will now be played Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
