The Blue Jays' minor league affiliates played three games on Tuesday (with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats rained out), winning one out of three games.
Buffalo Bisons 14, Rochester Red Wings (WAS) 1
The Buffalo Bisons (18-17) started their week with aplomb, getting a rehabbing major leaguer at the top of the order on their way to a 14-1 win over the Rochester Red Wings.
The $150 million man himself, George Springer, made an appearance for the Bisons, staring in the leadoff spot and playing centre field. He went 0-for-4 but made a planned exit in the middle of the game. The game was a home-run fest as the Bisons went deep seven times, getting two each from Richard Urena (2-for-5, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 2 R) and Kevin Smith (3-for-5, 2 HR, BB, 4 RBI, 3 R) while Jared Hoying (4-for-5, 2 2B, HR, RBI, 3 R), Cullen Large (2-for-4, HR, BB, RBI, 3 R) and Logan Warmoth (2-for-5, HR, RBI, R) had one apiece. Christian Colon also got in on the multi-hit action, going 3-for-6 with a double and two runs while Juan Graterol and Tyler White were 1-for-5 with an RBI each.
Righty Jacob Waguespack had a strong start, giving up one run on seven hits with a walk and five strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings for the win. Casey Lawrence struck out all four batters he faced while Dany Jimenez walked one and struck out two in one inning and Bryan Baker walked one and struck out one in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 9, Everett AquaSox (SEA) 16
The Vancouver Canadians' (21-16) took one on the chin to open their series against the Everett AquaSox, falling 16-9.
The offence is continuing to churn with 11 hits including two at the top of the order from Canadian Tanner Kirwer (Sherwood Park, Alta.) (2-for-6, 2 RBI, R), Phil Clarke (2-for-6, R) and Cameron Eden (2-for-5, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, R) while Ronny Brito (2-for-3, HR, 2 BB, 2 RBI, 2 R) also had a pair of hits. Spencer Horwitz was 1-for-4 with a walk and a run, Luis De Los Santos was 1-for-5 with a run and Ryan Gold drove in two, going 1-for-4 with a double and a run. Tanner Morris was 0-for-1 but walked four times and scored once.
It wasn't pretty for the pitchers as Sean Wymer starter and surrendered seven runs on six hits (2 HRs) and two walks in just one inning, bloating his season's ERA to 10.17. Willy Gaston gave up five runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks, striking out three in three innings while Marcus Reyes gave up a run on two hits with three strikeouts in three innings. Justin Maese finished with two innings of three-run ball, giving up two hits and two walks with a strikeout.

Dunedin Blue Jays 7, Clearwater Threshers (PHI) 9
It was a back-and-forth affair as the Dunedin Blue Jays (14-22) ultimately fell 9-7 to the Clearwater Threshers.
Harry Ray had a big game, hitting his first two professional home runs, going 2-for-3 with the dingers, a walk, two RBI and two runs. Jhon Solarte also went deep, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and two runs while Zac Cook hit his second home run, going 1-for-4 with the home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs. Leo Jimenez was 1-for-1 with a double and a run before coming out of the game after getting hit by a pitch in the third inning. Miguel Hiraldo was 1-for-5.
Trent Palmer started on the mound, going just 1 2/3 innings and giving up five runs (four earned) on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts. Sean Mellen took over and stranded two runners, allowing just a hit and striking out one in 1 1/3 innings. Jol Concepcion allowed three runs on four hits and four walks in 2 2/3 innings, striking out four while Julian Valdez gave up just a run, stranding two runners and allowed four hits and struck out three in two innings. Gabriel Ponce also stranded two runners, striking out one in 1 1/3 innings.
