The Toronto Blue Jays' affiliates went 3-1 on a strong Sunday with the Dunedin Blue Jays still off for their All-Star Break.

Buffalo Bisons 12, Louisville Bats (CIN) 2

The triple-A Buffalo Bisons beat up the Bats of Louisville, winning 12-2 thanks to a seven-run third inning.

Jordan Patterson hit two home runs and had a sac fly, driving in six runs for the Bisons while Richard Urena was 3/5 with an RBI and two runs, adding a stolen base. Michael De La Cruz was 2/4 with a double, an RBI and a run while Socrates Brito was 1/5 with a double and two RBI. Patrick Kivlehan was on base three times, going 1/3 with two walks and two runs while Andy Burns was 1/4 with a r un and Jonathan Davis was 1/3 with a run.

David Paulino allowed just a run over five innings, giving up four hits and two walks with six strikeouts to get his first win. Jacob Waguespack, rehabbing from the Blue Jays allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout over two innings. Kirby Snead finished the game, walking one and allowing a hit with two strikeouts in the eigith.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2, Richmond Flying Squirrels (SF) 1

Yennsy Diaz tossed eight stellar innings, as the double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels by a 2-1 score.

Diaz allowed just one unearned run over eight, allowing six hits and two walks with four strikeouts to even his record at 5-5. Bryan Baker finished it to save his sixth game, striking out one in the ninth.

Nash Knight went deep for his fourth home run of the year, going 1/4 with a walk, an RBI and a run while Brock Lundquist was 2/4. Forrest Wall hit his 20th double of the season, going 1/5 with an RBI and Alberto Mineo was 1/3 with a walk. Chad Spanberger was 1/4 as was Logan Warmoth.

Dunedin Blue Jays

Off for All-Star Break

Lansing Lugnuts 2, Bowling Green Hot Rods (TB) 1

The low-A Lansing Lugnuts finished up the first half of their season with a win as they beat the Bowling Green Hot Rods 2-1 on Sunday.

Troy Miller allowed one run over five innings, giving up two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in one of his strongest starts this year. Marcus Reyes got the win, tossing a scoreless sixth, giving up a hit and striking out one while Will McAffer (North Vancouver, B.C.) threw a scoreless sixth, walking one and striking out one. In the eighth, Mike Pascoe retired a batter, striking out one for his only out and walking one while Sean Rackoski struck out two in 1 2/3 innings, earning the save.

The club had just six hits including a double from Rafael Lantigua (1/2, 2B, BB, R) while Ryan Gold was 1/2 with a walk and Nick Podkul was 1/4 with an RBI. Hunter Steinmetz was 1/3 with a stolen base and Jake Brodt was 1/3 with an RBI.

Vancouver Canadians 4, Spokane Indians (TEX) 7\

The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians lost the third game of their season, falling 7-4 to the Spokane Indians.

Catcher Jesus Lopez broke out by going 3/5 with a double, an RBI and a run while Adrian Ramos was 2/4 with an RBI. Ronny Brito was 2/5 with a double and a run and Yorman Rodgriuez was 2/5. Cameron Eden was 2/5 with a double and a run while Mc Gregory Contreras was 1/4 with a walk and Tanner Morris was 1/5 with an RBI.

Starter William Gaston struck out seven batters in five innings of work, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk while Adams Cuevas took the loss, giving up five runs on four hits (including a home run) with two walks and three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings. Nicolas Medina walked one and allowed a hit with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings to finish the game.
