Lamonts help AOS to Perfect Game pair of wins
The Ace of Spades -- with 10 Canadians on its roster -- scored a victory in its final round robin game and then won a consolation game at the 17U Perfect Game Florida World Series at the Boombah Sports Complex in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
AOS snuck by the 5 Star Puerto Rico 2022, 7-6 to conclude round-robin play with a 1-2 reord.
RHP Harry Lamont (2024, Oakville, Ont.) pitched for AOS allowing one hit and one walk in one inning. He worked consistently in the 72-73 mph range and complemented his fastball with a 64-mph curveball. He also knocked in a run.
Jack Lamont (2022, Oakville, Ont.) was 1-for-3 with a run scored and knocked in a run. Lamont is hitting .500 through three games.
