Dawgs 18U Black Win the Langley Blaze Invitational

The Okotoks Dawgs 18U Black played some of their best ball of the year and knocked off the Victoria Eagles by a score of 6-2 to win the Langley Blaze Invitational.

The championship marks the first time in Dawgs Academy history of winning the tournament, one the program has been attending for past five years. The Langley tourney features 20 of the top teams in Western Canada, Washington and Ontario, with the 18U Black Pool featuring four of the top teams in the tournament: Langley Blaze, Chaffey Baseball Club (Wash.), North Shore Twins and the Dawgs.

The Dawgs are coached by Val Helldobler, Tyler Hollick and Jeff Duda.

Game 1 vs North Shore (3-2 Win)
