Palfrey named to the 2024 DI Baseball All-ECAC Team

DANBURY, Conn. — Columbia baseball's Griffin Palfrey was tabbed to the 2024 DI Baseball All-ECAC Team, the Eastern College Athletic Conference announced on Thursday.

Palfrey (Vancouver, B.C.) was a First Team All-Ivy League selection as a second baseman and Second Team All-Ivy League selection as a utility player this season. The junior captain received the Lou Gehrig co-MVP award and Mr. Hustle award this year.

Palfrey's .380 batting average was a team-high and ranked third in the Ivy League.

Palfrey drove in 49 runs which were the third-most in the conference and ended the season riding a 16-game hitting streak. On the mound, Palfrey made 13 appearances and pitched to a 2.25 ERA. He was tabbed Ivy League Player of the Week on April 29.

Earlier this week, Palfrey garnered Second Team NCAA Div. I Northeast All-Region honours.
