Former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Rob Butler (East York, Ont.) has been named the GM and head coach of the Ontario Devil Rays 18U squad.

The Ontario Devil Rays are pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Butler as general manager and head coach of the 18U program.

He brings an exceptional level of experience and leadership to the role, having spent the past 25 years coaching high-level travel baseball teams. He has also served as a Major League Baseball scout and Team Canada coach, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of countless Canadian baseball prospects.

Rob, along with his brother Rich Butler, has coached and mentored thousands of athletes, many of whom have advanced to NCAA, NJCAA, NAIA, and professional levels, including the MLB.

His expertise, passion, and dedication to the game are unparalleled—and his track record of developing young players speaks for itself.
