Gritty Terriers 18u catcher Conrad Erasmus (Mississauga, Ont.) will suit up for the Erie Community College Kats next August.

Conrad impressed the Erie coaching staff during the Terriers visit to their campus this past fall. He was offered a roster spot and has committed.

Conrad has been a Terrier for the past two years. He is a physical right handed hitting catcher that impacts the baseball with tremendous authority. He hits in the heart of the line-up and can be counted on for clutch RBIs and a plus .300 batting average.

Behind the plate he possesses excellent blocking and receiving skills and a dominant arm. He also does a great job with the pitching staff because of his poise and leadership.

The Kats compete in NJCAA Region 3. The college is part of the 64-campus State University of New York system. It serves western New York and surrounding communities. ECC offers more than 100 programs of study and 14 online degrees.

At St. Martin's high school, Conrad's honours include Baseball MVP, ROPSAA football Defensive Player of the Year and a Specialist High Skills Major award.
