Top 10 Rankings in Canada (June 14, 2023)

We have now released our list of Top 10 Teams in Canada. The list is meant to have some fun and grow the sport at the Men’s AAA level.
I have done as much scouring of webpages as I can to try and make the rankings as legit as possible.
So with out further ado he we go...
Honourable Mentions
Cactus de Victoriaville (5-2; Ligue de Quebec)
Castors d’Acton Vale (5-3; Ligue de Quebec)
Sherwood Park A’s (5-3; Sunburst League)
Calgary Rockies (4-2; Sunburst League)
Fredericton Royals (3-1; New Brunswick League)
#10-Charlottetown Islanders (5-1; New Brunswick League)
In six games they have 42 runs scored and have allowed 18 runs. Scott Harper (.471, 8H, 4 RBI) and Ryne MacIsaac (.368, 7 H, 4 RBIs) lead the team in hitting while Jordan Stevenson (1-0, 0.00 ERA) and Brody MacDonald (2-0, 0.81 ERA) are top pitchers.
#9-Edmonton Cubs (6-3; Sunburst League)
The Cubs are currently tied for first in the Sunburst. They have scored 37 runs and allowed 31. Their top hitters are Josh Croft (.476, 10 H, 7 RBIs) and Dan Chappell (.333, 8 H, 4 RBIs). Top Pitchers are Taylor Thomas (4-0, 2.21 ERA) and Jarvis Greiner (1-1, 3.82 ERA)
#8-Thornhill Reds (6-1; Greater Toronto League)
The Reds currently lead GTBL. They finished second at Tillsonburg tourney. Top hitters: Jonas Press (.550, 11 H, 10 RBIs) and Zach Lampreia (.310, 9 H, 6 RBIs). Top Arms: Eli Press (2-0, 1.83 ERA) and Cory Levy (2-0, 0.93 ERA)
#7-Red Deer Riggers (6-3; Sunburst League)
The Riggers are tied with the Cubs for top spot in the Sunburst. This year’s hosts of the Canadians have been playing some good baseball of late. Top hitters: Corbyn Shields (7 H, 8 RBIs) and Derek Chapman (9 H, 3 RBIs). Top arms: Rees DeRuyter (3-1) and Josh Edwards (3-0). (Stats are approximate)
#6 Dartmouth Mooseheads (4-1; Nova Scotia League)
Currently lead Nova Scotia loop. Top hitters: Ty Doucette (.714, 5 H, 4 RBIs), Jaelin Trider (.368, 7 H, 8 RBIs), Jack Fader (.375, 6 H, 8 RBIs). Top Arms: Matt Bradley (1-0, 2.63 ERA), Anthony McKinley (1-0, 0.00 ERA)
#5-Etobicoke Rangers (9-0; COBA Major League)
Currently lead COBA Major League. Top hitters Michael Ferracuti (.417, 15 H, 11 RBIs), Mike Foster (.481, 13 H, 12 RBIs), Hunter Bisser (.609, 14 H, 13 RBIs). Top arms Andrew Hyde (3-0, 2.05 ERA), Mike Asta (1-0, 4.23 ERA)
#4-Cascades de Shawinigan (8-0; LIgue de Quebec)
Currently leading the Quebec League standings. Top hitters: Raphael Gladu (.586, 17 H, 15 RBIs), Ismael Ballard (.533, 15 H, 9 RBIs). Top arms: Jean-Felix Proulx (4-0, 1.47 ERA), Ricardo Smith (3-0, 1.75 ERA)
#3-Sarnia Brigade (9-1; Southwestern League)
Currently lead the SW League in Ontario. Top Hitters: Core Jackson, Alex McLean, Mitch Bigras. Top Pitchers: Mike Damchuk, Derek Masse, Alex McLean.
#2-Windsor Stars (7-4; Can Am League)
Defending Canadian champs; second in the Can-Am League. Won Vaughan Tourney (5-0). Top Hitters: Mitch Hudvanger (.476, 10 H, 14 RBIs), Noah Renaud (.465, 20 H, 6 RBIs). Top arms: Kimani Bailey (2-0, 2.33 ERA), Jack Zimmerman (2-0, 4.37 ERA)
#1-Tecumseh Thunder (10-1; Can Am League)
Currently first in Cam Am League. Former Ontario champs rounding into form in ‘23. Top Hitters: Ross Barker (.421, 16 H, 8 RBIs), Paul Lamantia (.378, 14 H, 12 RBIs). Top arms: Kyle Breitner (3-0, 2.80 ERA), Chris Horvath (1-1, 1.65 ERA)
