Official Toronto Maple Leafs News Release

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed outfielder/pitcher Ben Sitarenios for the 2025 season.

Sitarenios, a native of Richmond Hill, Ont., attended Salem University (NCAA DII) and is a graduate of the Toronto Mets program.

Across four seasons, he struck out 41 batters in 46 2/3 innings in 41 games for Salem University.

Additionally, Sitarenios has been a member of Baseball Canada’s 22U National Championship tournament three years in a row representing Ontario, coming home with a gold and a silver.

In 2024, Sitarenios played for the GTBL’s East York Bulldogs.
